The Medical Association is over 140 years old, and our organization has survived both Ebola, HIV, and the Spanish Flu. More than survived. Contributed to studies of cure, and relief.<\/p>\n<p>As older students, it is our responsibility to include you in our community, as we ourselves were once included by those who are today leading representatives in the study of the medical disciplines \u2013 our alumni. admin_preview_bg='']\n<blockquote>Medicinska F\u00f6reningen (MF) is divided into twelve sections that represent different programs at Karolinska Institutet (KI).<\/blockquote>\r\nThose of MF's members who are registered for a certain education at KI are members of the section for that education. According to the bylaws, the sections' main areas of \u200b\u200bactivity are <strong>education issues<\/strong>, <strong>study social issues<\/strong> and <strong>internationalization issues<\/strong> that apply to the section members' education as well as research and postgraduate education issues for the Doctoral Students' Association.\r\n\r\nThe section members elect their own section board, which leads the section and elects student representatives to programme level bodies at KI. All section members have the right to attend, express their opinions and move for a decision at section meetings, and the members of the section board have the right to vote.\r\n\r\nMany sections have different groupings that are responsible, for example, for arranging reception activities for new students, parties or educational events.
