All of our members and students at KI have been incredibly good at adapting to changes quickly, which we are very proud of.<\/p>\n<p>On 29 October 2020, the <a href=\"https:\/\/www.folkhalsomyndigheten.se\/nyheter-och-press\/nyhetsarkiv\/2020\/oktober\/beslut-om-skarpta-allmanna-rad-i-stockholms-lan-vastra-gotalands-lan-och-ostergotlands-lan\/\" target=\"_blank\" rel=\"noopener noreferrer\">Swedish Public Health Agency enforced their recommendations in Stockholm County<\/a> due to an increased number of people diagnosed with covid-19 and an increased burden on health care. Everyone staying in Stockholm County is now urged to refrain from participating in e.g. meetings, concerts, performances and if possible avoid physical contact with people outside the household. The Swedish Public Health Agency advises against arranging or participating in parties or other similar social gatherings. The government informed the public on the 20th November that <a href=\"https:\/\/svenskforfattningssamling.se\/sites\/default\/files\/sfs\/2020-11\/SFS2020-1000.pdf\">public events with more than 8 people will be prohibited<\/a> starting from the 24th November due to the increased infection rate in society.<\/p>\n<p>Due to the situation, the Board of Medicinska F\u00f6reningen has decided that the recommendations below will apply until further notice.<\/p>\n<\/div><\/section><\/p><\/div>\n<style type=\"text\/css\" data-created_by=\"avia_inline_auto\" id=\"style-css-av-190bggq-720ce1184cb7dc3886d4fda93ef6bdea\">\n.flex_column.av-190bggq-720ce1184cb7dc3886d4fda93ef6bdea{\nborder-radius:0px 0px 0px 0px;\npadding:0px 0px 0px 0px;\n}\n<\/style>\n<div  class='flex_column av-190bggq-720ce1184cb7dc3886d4fda93ef6bdea av_two_third  avia-builder-el-4  el_after_av_one_full  el_before_av_one_third  first flex_column_div av-zero-column-padding  column-top-margin'     ><section  class='av_textblock_section av-k7ryo0d0-c9c8f838c35a1a355ca76a336ddeb0a6 '   itemscope=\"itemscope\" itemtype=\"https:\/\/schema.org\/BlogPosting\" itemprop=\"blogPost\" ><div class='avia_textblock'  itemprop=\"text\" ><h3>Events and meetings<\/h3>\n<p>The Board advices against physical events and meetings being arranged by all parts of the union. Events and meetings are encouraged to be held digitally instead.<\/p>\n<p>The union premises are open to employees and remunerated members who need to work on site, as well as to members with access in order to provide space for individual work.<\/p>\n<h3>Renting of K\u00e5rhuset and Solvik<\/h3>\n<p>External tenants of premises in Medicinska F\u00f6reningens K\u00e5rhus and the sports cabin Solvik must adhere their activities to the Swedish Public Health Agency&#8217;s recommendations.<\/p>\n<h3>Travels<\/h3>\n<p>The Board advises against all trips organised through Medicinska F\u00f6reningen.<\/p>\n<h3>Student union offices<\/h3>\n<p>The student union offices in Solna and Flemingsberg are kept closed. The administrator is available by email and telephone contact during office hours.<\/p>\n<p><a href=\"https:\/\/medicinskaforeningen.se\/en\/contact\/\" target=\"_blank\" rel=\"noopener\">Contact information can be found here.<\/a><\/p>\n<h3>Budget and economy<\/h3>\n<p>The Board believes that union bodies can return to a more normal use of budgeted funds for 2020, unless otherwise announced by the Treasurer or the Administration Committee.<\/p>\n<h3>Student influence<\/h3>\n<p>Our student representatives, sections and the presidium are in continuous contact with KI to create the best possible circumstances for all students &#8211; both at a program level and centrally. Through MF you can affect your education and decisions made by KI!<\/p>\n<p>Check out your section and contact them if you have any questions, and <a href=\"https:\/\/medicinskaforeningen.se\/en\/become-a-student-representative\/\" target=\"_blank\" rel=\"noopener\">apply for student representative positions here<\/a>.<\/p>\n<h3>MF&#8217;s COVID-19 resource group<\/h3>\n<p>As a step towards channeling the union involvement around the situation, the Presidium, together with Inspector Carl Johan Sundberg, instituted a resource group for COVID-19. During the spring and summer, the group has arranged digital events on mental health, the seminar series &#8220;Experts explain&#8221; and been working together with <a href=\"https:\/\/www.facebook.com\/groups\/494650038080423\" target=\"_blank\" rel=\"noopener noreferrer\"><span class=\"_whq\" spellcheck=\"false\" data-offset-key=\"dieev-3-0\"><span data-offset-key=\"dieev-3-0\">Sjukv\u00e5rdshj\u00e4lpen<\/span><\/span><\/a> to provide the healthcare system with protective equipment!<\/p>\n<p><a
