The Election Commission has been able to find in the archive the previous year which was almost as popular, in 2013 the number of candidates was 35. Can we break a record with the voter turnout as well?<\/p>\n<p>Two applicants were not MF members and one candidacy was withdrawn, hence the final number of candidates in the election is Now that I have gained this knowledge, I would like to continue to be a part of FuM to be able to participate in future important decision about Medicinska F\u00f6reningen. Since I studied at university in the USA as well, which is very different from school in Sweden, it was hard to find ways to get involved. This fall, with many things in person, I have been able to get into the student life more by joining several clubs including L\u00e4karsektionen, global friends, PrU and idrottsutskottet. All of this engagement plus the culture differences and the new school environment I was thrown into left me with many questions on how KI works, and what goes into creating student life at KI. What I long to do in the MF council is to work to keep the quality of Ki student life, and hopefully make changes for the better so that the next student in my position is able to have the best Karolinska Institutet. Two of these years I was part of PrU, where I was part of the board one year. For three years I have been part of Corpus and Flix and have held several larger positions within the associations. Currently, I am the chairperson of Corpus Karrolina and during the past year we have been helping with the renovations of spegelsalen and klubbv\u00e5ningen at MF. As a result, I have had a wide range of experience when it comes to challenges and frustrations in a PhD life at KI. I have been an outsider here and tried to find my way. I would like to be part of supporting PhD students at KI by being their voice to create more efficient and smooth PhD education at KI with more mental health.
