The\u00a013th of December\u00a0is also the date that King Karl XIII founded Karolinska Institutet in 1810 which makes it an even more solemn evening. The evening offers a dinner with great food and entertainment, by among others <a href=\"https:\/\/medicinskaforeningen.se\/en\/ascalpella\/\" target=\"_blank\" rel=\"noopener\">A Scalpella<\/a> and the skit societies <a href=\"https:\/\/medicinskaforeningen.se\/en\/corpus\/\" target=\"_blank\" rel=\"noopener\">Corpus<\/a> and <a href=\"https:\/\/medicinskaforeningen.se\/en\/flix\/\" target=\"_blank\" rel=\"noopener\">Flix<\/a>, and thereafter live music by <a href=\"https:\/\/medicinskaforeningen.se\/en\/stroket\/\" target=\"_blank\" rel=\"noopener\">Stroket<\/a> and <a href=\"https:\/\/medicinskaforeningen.se\/en\/blaslaget\/\" target=\"_blank\" rel=\"noopener\">Bl\u00e5slaget<\/a>. Some of Medicinska F\u00f6reningen&#8217;s highest medals of honor are awarded at the Lucia Ball. Some years even the Nobel Prize Laureates\u00a0in\u00a0Physiology\u00a0or\u00a0Medicine come and celebrate this evening with us.<\/p>\n<\/div><\/section><\/p><\/div>\n\n<style type=\"text\/css\"
