Why do you want to be a part of FuM?

I am a very curious and passionate person with a lot of responsibility so decision making is definitely my thing. I love taking the lead and helping out other students or just other people, listening to what they have to say and try my best for everyone’s utmost experience, not only regular students but also international students.

Describe your experiences within MF and other relevant experience!

While still being a new student myself, there are a lot of things I am satisfied with but also things that I see could improve and become even better for the new students. Through the perspective of a newly enrolled student I would like to contribute by listening to the meaningful opinions of others and give the next batch of students an even better experience enrolling into KI.

Why do you want to be a part of FuM?

Being part of the highest decision-making body of MF means actively taking part in student life at Karolinska Institutet, and making a difference on an large scale. Deciding about the activity plan, the budget, and other important decisions is very inspiring and stimulating, since it affects the whole university and its members. It is a challenge that I am willing to take, and I am intrinsically motivated to influence positively the future of MF. I would be excited to meet you all and help making a change!

Describe your experiences within MF and other relevant experience!

Since the introduction week, I have been taking part in MF activities. Indeed, I participated in all introduction days, getting involved in various activities ranging from the Amphiox games to after parties. I also participated in the bar training organized by MF, as well as the Friday bar. I would now love to get involved even further by organizing activities and decide about strategic issues in MF, rather than only participating passively. I was already part of other associations in my previous university, namely head of the sports committee, as well as member of the green and food committee. Therefore, I have experience in organizing events and managing a budget.

Why do you want to be a part of MF?

I believe in the importance of representing students’ interests and contributing to an improved study environment. Being part of the council gives me the opportunity to influence decisions that directly affect us, both academically and socially. I am passionate about creating an inclusive atmosphere where all students feel welcomed and can be a part of decisions about their own education and studentlife. I also want to continue my work on the Infrastructure Committee, where I represent students in discussions about how resources and investments in KI’s research infrastructure are coordinated. One of my goals is bridging the gap between students and KI, increasing interest in research, and ensuring that every student feels included. I believe that my experiences, knowledge and passion for MF will be a great help to drive positive change, contribute to our work and ensure that students’ voices are heard.

Describe your experiences within MF and other relevant experience?

I have had various interactions with different associations within MF, for example PRU, läkarintrot, LÄSK, Med SM and Vitalis. Some for longer periods and others for shorter. I have also worked as HA for an extended time and served as a member of the Infrastructure Committee. I’ve also served on several boards in the past, so I have a great understanding of administrative tasks, budgeting, and practical work. I believe that my experiences, knowledge and passion for MF will really help drive positive change and contribute to our work and ensure that students’ voices are heard.

Why do you want to be a part of MF?

I have been involved in MF for more than five years, during which time I’ve been a part of multiple union bodies and many different projects like the renevation, MF 150 and the Mind&Body project. The role of the union council (FuM) is to be the highest decision making authority within MF. This puts a lot of responsibility on the members to be involved with the unions activities and the decisions that are made in FuM. I can safely say that after my year as Vice President of the union, I’ll have the experience and knowledge required to be a productive and responsible member of FuM. This year, the board has worked on reorganizing and redefining some union bodies that could be seen as dysfunctioning, and I want to continue that work in FuM next year.

I am deeply committed to our student life at KI and eager to create an even better environment for all of us to thrive, develop, and enjoy our journeys together in. I find great importance in ensuring that all voices are heard and believe in creating an organization where all students feel represented, seen and valued for their unique ideas and experiences. By engaging in FuM, I will contribute to creating an organization that further maximizes our time spent at KI, and strengthens our sense of community and belonging. I look forward to shaping the future of our student union by making responsible decisions, fostering meaningful relationships, and driving positive change.

Describe your experiences within MF and other relevant experience!

I have always been interested in finding innovative solutions to complex problems and bringing the right people together to build a strong and collaborative group. As a proud member of the communications teams in both Medicinska Föreningen and the Students’ Nobel NightCap, I understand the importance of efficient and open contact between unions, students and sponsors. On top of that, I have been a social media ambassador for KI, ensuring that students recieved much needed answers to questions they had about everything from research opportunities to the best study spots on campus. Before starting my journey to become a doctor at KI, I worked at various pharmaceutical companies and labs where I further honed my skills at advising, managing and collaborating with colleagues to ensure success in our shared and personal ambitions.

Why do you want to be a part of FuM?

I’m interested in educational matters and believe that a democratic system is essential for keeping things fair and balanced. Having served as a course representative (kursråd), I’ve seen firsthand how discussions and decisions can lead to real improvements. Now, I’d like to take a bigger step by getting involved with FuM, where I can contribute on a broader level. I enjoy working in teams and believe that hearing different perspectives leads to better outcomes. FuM seems like a great opportunity to meet new people, exchange ideas, and work together to make a positive impact on our student community. I’m excited to help contribute to the continued development of KI and MF.

Describe your experiences within MF and other relevant experience!

I have been part of the board (styrelse) for Nallesjukhuset, an organization focused on helping children feel more comfortable with healthcare. In this role, I worked closely with a team to plan events, organize activities, and think creatively about how to make healthcare less intimidating for young children. This experience reinforced my love for teamwork and problem-solving. Working in groups has taught me the importance of listening to different perspectives and thinking together to come up with ideas that work for everyone involved. Whether it’s organizing activities for Nallesjukhuset or being part of discussions on educational matters, I enjoy contributing to environments where collaboration leads to meaningful outcomes. Being part of such efforts has inspired me to take on more responsibilities, and I look forward to using these skills and experiences to contribute further within MF.
