Medicor is the official magazine of Medicinska Föreningen. It is the only student magazine at Karolinska Institutet and also the largest medical student-union newspaper in Sweden, with approximately 3 000 subscribers and many more readers. It is written in English, as this broadens the scope of  the readers, owing to the international character and nature of Karolinska Institutet.

As one of Sweden’s most prominent magazine for students, Medicor especially focuses on inspiring and engaging students at Karolinska Institutet. The magazine consists of five main sections: Campus, Science, Global Focus, Culture and Insight. In these different sections, the reader encounters thought-provoking analyses and new approaches on present developments and news. Each number features a cover story, including a longer interview with interesting individuals relevant to science or medicine. Earlier cover stories include Hans Rosling on global health, Katarina Gospic on the brain and Christer Fuglesang on space and how our body functions in microgravity. We have also met a number of Nobel laureates and cutting-edge scientists. In addition to great content, we put a lot of emphasis on creating modern layouts and eye-catching photography.
