The Board
The Board of Medicinska Föreningen (MF) is the executive body that manages the daily activities of the student union. The Board is responsible for MF’s finances and administration, prepares the budget, compiles the annual report, hires employees and determines their terms of employment and decides on various daily matters.

The Board consists of 7-13 members that are appointed by the union council (Fullmäktige, FuM) at FuM’s constituent meeting. The Board answers to FuM and prepares matters that are decided by FuM. The previous year’s President, the Inspector, the chairpersons of MF’s committees and the auditors are invited and co-opted to all Board meetings. The Board may also co-opt others who they consider should be present when dealing with a specific issue.
The Board is led by the Presidium which consists of the President and the Vice President of MF. They are assigned to represent and speak for MF. The Presidium shall also ensure that decisions made by FuM and the Board are executed.

Medicinska Föreningen i Stockholm (MF) is the largest student union at Karolinska Institutet (KI) and together we work daily to make your time here as great as possible. MF monitors the education at KI and makes sure that they keep a high standard and that all students are well taken care of.
