The Speech and Language Pathology Section (Logopedsektionen, LoS) is the section for students at the Speech and Language Pathology Programme at Karolinska Institutet. As a member of Medicinska Föreningen and registered at the programme you are a member of LoS.
LoS consists of students from each year of the program and has varying tasks. One part is to be responsible for the study surverillance for the Speech and Language Pathology students at Karolinska Institutet (KI), by speaking the students’ voice in dialogue with KI. LoS works with questions about student health, development of education and much more. At the section meetings, students are elected as representatives in the programme’s committees and groups.
But we also arrange fun activities such as picnics in the summer and study circles. We also have an exchange with the Speech and Language Pathology students at Åbo Akademi in Finland where we take turns arranging dinners for each other in the host country!
