Medicinska Föreningen has been driven forward by dedicated members – students and alumni of Karolinska Institutet – since 1877. Chair of the Education Council
As the Chair of the Education Council, you are responsible for all student representation at MF and lead student policy matters. The Education Council serves as an umbrella organization for all sections engaged in student representation within their respective programs and as a meeting point for central student representatives.

You report to the board and lead the meetings of the Education Council. You will also have extensive contact with KI regarding student representatives and student influence.

The Chair of the Education Council is a position of trust and is compensated at 25%.

The election is prepared by the current Chair of the Education Council together with the MF Board.

Vice Chair of the Education Council
As the Vice Chair of the Education Council, you support the Chair, who is responsible for all student representation at MF and leads student policy matters. The Education Council serves as an umbrella organization for all sections engaged in student representation within their respective programs and as a meeting point for central student representatives.

Coordinators for the Partnership Program
These positions are compensated at 25% each, and individuals will be elected for a two-year term.

Those working with the Partnership Program are responsible for maintaining contact with MF’s partners and recruiting new partners. This involves:

  • Identifying potential new partners that align with MF’s profile as a medical student union
  • Meeting with potential partners
  • Negotiating agreements with new partners in accordance with the goals of the Partnership Program
  • Coordinating existing partnerships and acting as the main contact person for MF’s partners
  • Ensuring that MF fulfills its obligations according to agreements with partners
  • Overseeing planned events and the recruitment process for students working for our partners
