Equal Treatment Commission (ETC/LBN)

The Equal Treatment Commission (ETC/LBN) works with the university and the union to ensure equal opportunities for all students, regardless of sex, cross-gender identity or expression, age, ethnicity, religion or other belief, sexual orientation or disability.

We are trying to establish a friendly and diverse environment, both at Karolinska Institutet and within Medicinska Föreningen. Our aim is for all students to feel safe and welcome at all times.

Our work includes raising awareness, driving change and supporting diversity. Among other things, we host events to inform students about their rights, we work with KI to change policies on reporting incidents and we try to make the MF house more accessible.

If you would like to join the Equal Treatment Commission or if you would like to bring an issue to our attention, please don’t hesitate to contact us! You can also follow us on Facebook to see all of our events and activities.

Report 2022

In March 2022, the Students for Sustainable Development (SSD) and the Equal Treatment Commission (ETC), conducted a survey among members of Medicinska Föreningen to assess their experiences and opinions on social- and environmental sustainability at MF. This report describes the findings of this survey and discusses possible measures to improve sustainability at MF.
