Fullmäktige (FuM) /The Student Union Council (FuM) is the highest decision-making body of Medicinska Föreningen (MF). FuM is made up of MF members who together make the most important decisions within MF, such as adopting the operational plan, budget, and strategic decisions that affect all members and students at KI, as well as electing key positions within MF.
FuM consists of up to 23 members. A new FuM is elected annually in October, with the term of office running from November to November. 12 of the 23 seats are reserved for section representatives, while the remaining seats are filled through the general election, i.e. the Union Election. To lead FuM meetings, there is a presidium consisting of the Speaker, the Deputy Speaker, and the Secretary.

What is expected of me?
- Participate in FuM meetings about three times per semester (in the evenings, except for the inaugural meeting), approximately 2–3 hours per meeting.
- Read meeting documents (decision material etc.) in preparation for the meetings and take part in the decisions made during them. All documents are in Swedish, and you are therefore expected to have a sufficient level of Swedish to understand the matters being discussed. To be a member of FuM, you need to be a student member of MF, i.e. study at KI and be a member of MF. Become a member here.
How am I elected?
- Run in the general election – the Union Election
Submit your candidacy via the form abow. All MF student members will then vote for the candidates in the Union Election, which will take place from October 27 to 31.”

Each section appoints one representative to FuM to represent the section. As an alternative to running in the general election, you can contact your section to find out how you can be elected as a section representative
