Each year the Board decides on the announcement and distribution of scholarships from the foundations managed by Medicinska Föreningen. Announcement of scholarships is posted on this page when the application period is open. Read more about the foundations further down the page. Members of the Board or bodies that prepare scholarship matters are not authorized to apply for scholarships.

The foundation’s purpose is to promote the educational development of medical education at Karolinska Institutet.
Eligible Applicants:
The scholarship may be awarded to students who are members of Medicinska Föreningen in Stockholm, have completed at least one year of study at Karolinska Institutet, and are actively involved in the educational development of medical education at Karolinska Institutet.

Purpose of the Foundation:
The foundation’s purpose is to award scholarships to students who are also members of Medicinska Föreningen in Stockholm, to support travel—preferably abroad—aimed at studies within various branches of medical science.
Eligible Applicants;
The scholarship may be awarded to students who are members of Medicinska Föreningen in Stockholm and who have completed at least one year of study at Karolinska Institutet. Recipients must agree to submit a written travel report describing the results of their study trip.

The foundation’s purpose is to award scholarships to students who are also members of Medicinska Föreningen in Stockholm, in order to support their studies at Karolinska Institutet.
Eligible Applicants: The scholarship may be awarded to students who are members of Medicinska Föreningen in Stockholm, have completed at least one year of study at Karolinska Institutet, and are successfully pursuing their studies. When awarding scholarships, the applicant’s financial situation will be taken into consideration.

Medicinska Föreningen i Stockholm (MF) is the largest student union at Karolinska Institutet (KI) and together we work daily to make your time here as great as possible. MF monitors the education at KI and makes sure that they keep a high standard and that all students are well taken care of.
