Student influence

The student unions main purpose, according to the Higher Education Act 4 kap 9§, is to oversee and participate in the development of education and the conditions for learning at the university. The student union achieves this by, from its members’ opinions and interests, working with questions regarding the quality of education, equal treatment, discrimination, work/study environment amongst others.

As a student union we elect student representatives in all deciding and preparatory organs at the university, all the way from the individual program committees to the board of KI. Together we work to make sure the educations keep to the standard one can expect from a university!
