Recipients of Crux Parva Medicorum HT 2021

Crux Parva Medicorum is awarded to those who during a longer or shorter period of time have done invaluable work for Medicinska Föreningen.

The Board has decided to award Crux Parva Medicorum in the autumn of 2021 to Ib Green-Petersen, Mirco Martino, and as a surprise to Ann-Elise Hafvenström. Congratulations and thank you for your invaluable work for Medicinska Föreningen! The award was presented at the autumn Amphiox Gasque on the 9th of October and at the Primum Autumnus gasque on the 18th of September.

Ib Green-Petersen

During the pandemic, and the changes in the way education was held at KI, Ib Green-Petersen went above and beyond to safeguard the quality, safety and integrity of examinations and education. Few section chairmen have been through the trying turmoil Ib has endured – and even fewer could have acted with the integrity, stability and courageousness that he has. For these efforts and achievements, the board has decided to award Ib Green-Petersen with Crux Parva Medicorum.

Ann-Elise Hafvenström

Ann-Elise Hafvenström‘s commitment to MF has been a determinant factor in enabling the reproduction of MF social traditions. Ann-Elise’s selfless work has created true value for any and all who has attended MF events for more than half a decade. During the pandemic Ann-Elise has spearheaded the Mind and Body project, an effort to build mental and physical resilience during trying times. Spritis and Chair of the Programme Committee, member of the board, and holder of countless other positions of trust.

For these efforts and achievements, the board has decided to award Ann-Elise Hafvenström with Crux Parva Medicorum.

Mirco Martino

Mirco Martino has done invaluable work to highlight the struggles of doctoral education at KI, and mediating them, through student representation, as well as working hard to include doctoral students in MF events and culture. Thanks to Mircos work, doctoral students today have a strong voice within MF and KI. DSA chairman and a dedicated member of the union council.

For the stated reasons, the board has decided to award Mirco Martino with Crux Parva Medicorum.

Crux Parva Medicorum was instituted by the Board in 2000. Crux Parva Medicorum is awarded to someone who for a longer or shorter period has done invaluable work for Medicinska Föreningen. The medal can only be awarded to members, former members, employees or others who have been involved in the work of Medicinska Föreningen. Crux Parva Medicorum is awarded twice a year at the Amphiox Gasque. The Board decides whom to honor with the medal. A maximum of six medals can be awarded at once.
