Recipients of Crux Parva Medicorum VT 2023

Crux Parva Medicorum is awarded to those who have done invaluable voluntary work for Medicinska Föreningen.

The board has decided to award Crux Parva Medicorum the spring of 2023 to Louice Jansson, Tove Persson, Deni Rashid, Grim Olivercrona, Sofia Iskrak och Elisabeth Getahun. Congratulations and thank you for your work for Medicinska Föreningen!

Grim Olivecrona

Grim Olivecrona

Grim Olivecrona has been active within Medicinska föreningen since he started at KI. In 2019 he started the weekly activities of the Sports committee ad has since then helped to offer 2 sports activities every day of the week on Solna campus.

Grim has been active within the Medical section. He has recruited members to MF with his engagement as a fadder and as the captain of Medicinar-SM for two years he made a big contribution to open up the activities for all students which promoted unity of all students.

Through the years Grim has become a well known face at MF and during 2022 he was a part of the board where his strong engagement and big heart made a significant impact.

For his ivaluable voluntary work for Medicinska Föreningen, the board has decided to award Grim Olivecrona Crux Parva Medicorum. 

Louice Jansson

Louice Jansson

Louice Janssonhas a very broad engagement within MF. She started in the reception committee where she along with 2 other forces of nature organized the whole Autumn reception of 2021. Since then she has continued to be a pillar of MF through being active within the Programme committee, Communication committee and as the secretary of the board and Union council of 2022.

Louice’s engagement is shaped by communication. Louice is a warm, open and inclusive person. She makes everyone who is new to MF feel welcome and is passionate about everyone being treated equally and with respect.

For her ivaluable voluntary work for Medicinska Föreningen, the board has decided to award Louice Jansson Crux Parva Medicorum. 

Elisabeth Gethun

Elisabeth Getahun

Elisabeth Getahun has during her time at MF revolutionized the reception for new students at KI. As the president of the reception committee or “mamma MU” she has developed the reception activity through strengthened collaboration with the sections and through organizing the reception a week before the start of the semester. Her work has contributed to increased security and community among new students and her extensive engagement has made the reception committee blossom – with more engagement from senior students than previous years.

Besides this Elisabeth has been a valuable member of the nursing section and Festis where she has had many ideas that has improved communication.

For her invaluable voluntary work for Medicinska Föreningen, the board has decided to award Elisabeth Getahun Crux Parva Medicorum.

Deni Rashid

Deni Rashid

Deni Rashid played a crucial role in restarting the Biomedical Laboratory Science Section (BAS) and was the president of the section for several years. she has been a part of improving the education for BMA students and has worked with the structure of the new programme.

Deni has also taken the initiative to start a range of social activities for the students on campus Flemingsberg including a Nobelpub and halloween sitting that both were very appreciated. She has been a driving force in the project to improve student life in Flemingsberg and has truly made her mark in Medicinska Föreningen.

For her invaluable voluntary work for Medicinska Föreningen, the board has decided to award Deni Rashid Crux Parva Medicorum. 

Tove Persson

Tove Persson

Tove Persson has had a broad engagement within MF since the start of her education. She has been involved in the Programme committee, election committee, skit group, union council and the board. Tove has a great work ethic which is reflected by the time and energy she puts into her projects. She engages herself whole heartedly and with utmost seriousness. She is always there when needed and has had a significant role in the development of the union.

For her ivaluable voluntary work for Medicinska Föreningen, the board has decided to award Tove Persson Crux Parva Medicorum. 

Sofiia Iskrak

The board has also decided to award  Sofiia Iskrak crux parva medicorum for her work within students for Sustainable development. Sofia couldn’t be present during the award ceremony and will recieve her medal during the next amphiox gasque.

Crux Parva Medicorum was instituted by the board in 2000. It is awarded to those who during a longer or shorter period of time have done invaluable voluntary work for Medicinska Föreningen. The medal can only be awarded to members, previous members, employees of the union and others who have been engaged within the union. Crux Parva Medicorum is awarded twice a year at the Amphiox gasque. The board elects the recipients. A maximum of 6 medals can be awarded per time.
